Vivienne Westwood. Shoes 1973-2006
by Luca Beatrice and Matteo Guarnaccia, is a walk back in time celebrating the genius of the world famous British designer as the anarchic interpreter of the creation of fetish objects: shoes. The exhibition, held in the Castello Sforzesco of Vigevano in the facilities of Seconda Scuderia from September 16th to November 19th, 2006, outlines the fundamental steps of her exceptional success by tracing back her career from today to 1973, to her punk origins: the launch of the Sex Pistols, the fashion shows, the collections and the turning points which have dictated the rules of a new style in the world.
